As a tubist, I have the privilege to collaborate and perform with my friends and colleagues in solo, chamber music, and orchestral settings. Most recently, this includes an appointment with the Capital City Brass Band as one of their BBb basses.
-
As an educator, I have taught applied low brass, chamber music, music theory, and music composing/arranging at the collegiate level.
-
As a frequently commissioned composer, much of my output over the years has contributed to the tuba/euph repertoire. However, I find it is very important to write for more than just those two instruments! On my shop page, you’ll find works ranging from tuba solo repertoire to Grade 1 wind band to comedic art song. Please check it out!

I love exploring how the worlds of theory and performance can intertwine to make us better musicians. My recent research explores the incorporation of rhythmic and pitch solmization into low brass fundamentals.
